Hernandez, Cy Young?
The Seatlle Mariners Ace Felix Hernandez has been the best American League pitcher this year, that is for sure, that is what his personal stats show, unfortunately for him, his team is among the worst offesinve teams in MLB, and we can confirm that just by taking a glance at Jose Lopez BA who is one of the most important hitters in that team, it is 240, the only exception we can do is Ichiro, who hit 200 hits for 10th season in a row; However it is incredible the lack of offensive support Felix has had, he is the SO and ERA leader in the AL.
You see it as a paradox that hi has 13 wins and 12 losses when you check his personal statistics, but the good luck has not been with him.
Last Year the Venezuelan Pitcher was 2nd in the Cy Young voting behind Zack Greinke who no dubt deserved the award. This year Felix's situation is sort of like last year's Greinke, the problem is that Hernandez will not even acheive 15 wins, and he has lost 12 games already. If we take a look at the past we will see that Pat Hentgen won the Cy Young with 10 Losses, But The Difference Is That I won 20 games That year (1996). Felix is \u200b\u200bin a Difficult place When we talk about wins and Loss, But There Is No Doubt He Has Been The Most domminant pitcher of the American League, we'll Have to Wait Until the voting ends to See What Happens ...

Felix and Miguel Cabrera Cy Young
The Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez has been without doubt the best pitcher in the American League this year, and so demonstrate their personal numbers, unfortunately for him his team has been one of the worst in the major offensive , which we can see when we see Jose Lopez, who was destined to become one of the pillars offensive, hitting 240, average, and so there are several on campus, it is amazing the lack of support he has had the Valencia when he climbed the hill. Felix the day yesterday completed his 30th quality start this year and became the second pitcher to achieve that feat after that Randy Johnson did in 2002, also remains a leader in the cash department, and strikeouts. Paradoxically
has a record of 13 wins and 12 lost, which is almost unthinkable when we see the numbers that you post, but the reality is that luck has not helped as it regards to offensive support.
Last year Felix finished second in voting to prepress the AL Cy Young, behind Zack Greinke who certainly did the merits to win. This year, the Venezuelan is at a position similar to that Greinke was in 2009, the problem is that Hernandez does not even reach 15 wins, losing 12 games, if we look back, the only pitcher who has won the award Cy Young having 10 losses is Pat Hentgen in 1996, but this year he won 20 games. The situation for Hernandez this uphill in that department, but has undoubtedly been the most dominant pitcher in the American League, we will see how the voting takes place at the end of the season.
There are conflicting opinions as to whether or not Felix deserves the Cy Young; The answer lies with the voting

, 30 Home Runs 30 Home Runs
Last night at Yankee Stadium, the Detroit Tigers based on the 1st Jose Miguel Cabrera hit two home runs to reach 30 this season. This is the 6th time he gets to that number in his career. Several people, including me, think that Cabrera is one of the Venezuelans with more power hitters who ever played in the majors, he can throw the ball down the right field like a lefty, also has an extremely fast swing which makes very difficult to spend with straight pitchers, there is no doubt that it is dangerous in the Home Plate, with a batting average of 314 in his career, he is in the elite hitters in the big leagues. This season is very important to have numbers, has been in competition for the triple crown since the first week, at this moment he is first in RBIs with 98 followed by A-Rod is 97, is second in home runs with 30, and second in batting average with 340 behind Josh Hamilton. Those numbers make us think that Cabrera is also a strong candidate for MVP prepress, but if Josh Hamilton did not have numbers as good as Cabrera his team is in first place in the West Division of the American League and is a good chance of passing the playoffs, Detroit is 12 games behind the first in their division, so it is not easy for Cabrera to be the MVP this year although it is still possible. I still remember the 2003 season when Florida called to the big leagues and he sorpendio everyone in the playoffs, had a great World Series and impressive at all when given a home run to Roger Clemens to right, Cabrera was one of the most important pieces to beat the Yankees this year.
Let's see what happens at the end of the season, this player has been putting large numbers season after season, and if he keeps playing that way he will be among the most Gander in the final of his career

Misbehavior
The Venezuelan Pitcher Carlos Zambrano fell in misbehavior one more time.
After having a bad first inning allowing 6 runs he got into the dugout shouting insults and swearing away, then he faced the first baseman Derrek Lee complaning because he did not dive to reach a rolling that was hit along the first base line
(Zambrano shouting insults on the chief umpire last season, he was ejected that time)
this has happened several times before, it is totally unacceptable when a professional baseball player falls in that kind of behavior. The Cubs manager Lou Piniella said that it is embarrasing.
This Pitcher has acted like that since the beginning of his carrer with the Cubs; But the office said that he was a very young player and he would grow up sometime, the thing is that Zambrano is already 28 years old andd he still acts like a 5 year old kid who is mad at his parents because they won't give him the candy he wants. It's sad because he is a very talented pitcher but nobody knows if he is going to start to have an acceptable behavior anytime soon.
At this moment Zambrano is in a restriction list and he won't be back in action before the all-star game, and Piniella When He Already Said That I Will Be gets back in the bull pen, not a starter anymore, además Assigned him to the Cubs so I CAN Psychiatric Treatment historical control anger.

Gta Vice City Unhandle Problem
Venezuelan pitcher Carlos Zambrano returned a few days ago to engage in improper behavior.
After having a bad inning allowing 6 runs in the first inning came in the dugout shouting insults and curses, faced the first baseman Derrek Lee to claim for not having thrown to the ground for fielding a rolling hit it adhered to the foul line.
(Zambrano last season when demand angrily to the Chief Umpire, was expelled the game at that time)
Zambrano is a recidivist, and has done this sort of thing several times before, is totally unacceptable that a professional baseball player to behave that way. His manager Lou Piniella said it was shameful and can not accept such behavior within the team.
This pitcher has performed well since he began his career with the Cubs, but management thought he was young and would eventually grow, the question is that Zambrano's now 28 years old and still acting like a child of 5 when their parents do not buy the sweets asked. It is unfortunate because it is a very talented pitcher and could go far, but do not know if at some point learn to behave.
This Carlos Zambrano is now on a list of restriction and will not return to action until after the All-Star game, and Piniella already said he will be as a reliever when he returns again, the Cubs also put him under psychiatric care for the control of the Ira hoping to change their behavior.

behavior problems Pitching is the name of the game
Last night, Edwin Jackson Took the mound for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Threw a no hitter Against the Tampa Bay Rays, That Was the 4th no hitter this season, 2 of Them Were Perfect games, Galarraga plus one, if you one to count it.
real I've been paying Attention to the MLB action Since 1996 when i was 9 years old, althought I was even younger when I started to watch some games with my dad, who has always been a complete baseball fan, and happens to know a lot abot the game; However I 've followed Venezuelan Baseball many years before for my parents took me the first time to the baseball park in Valencia when I was like 1 month old to watch Magallanes play, I'm Venezuelan for those who don't know.
I'm saying all this because in all the years I've been following the MLB I don't remember any season in which the pitchers have been as dominant as they are in this one, I know there have been seasons like this before but I did not see those.
In the 90's the pitchers were pretty dominant, and we were admired to watch hitters like Tony Gwynn win several batting titles with very high BA. The home run leaders were always at 40 or 45 homers per season, with some exceptions like Ken Griffey Jr. who was accuratelly called "The Natural" for he had some 50 HR seasons, a guy who for sure will be in Cooperstown in 5 years.
In 1998 Mark McGwire hit 70 long balls, and Sammy Sosa hit 66, but we all know the history behind them (steroids and cork bat).
Later when the year 2000 arrived we started to see big eruption of power hitters, but those hitters weren't like Andres Galarraga, Ken Griffey Jr, Vladimir Gerrero, Cal Ripken Jr, David Justice, Paul O'neill, Vinny Castilla, Dante Bichette, Gregg Vaughn.
(Tonny Gwynn and Cal Ripken Jr. Two of the best hitters in the history of the game, no steroids at all)
Those were hitters that improved their power and skills by using steroids.
That was the time when the batters-over-pitchers age started
.
From 2000 on y saw Barry Bonds do the same thing as McGwire, and we knew about an important amount of players that were using or had used steroids, of course some pitchers have used this kind of substances too, but the quantity is almost insignificant when we compare them to the position players, the most in-famous
case of a pitcher on steroids was Roger Clemens.
in the late 00's the doping tests have gotten better in MLB, that is why last year we did not see so many batters hit 50 home runs, and that's also why we have seen very dominant pitchers this year. But let us be clear, we can't say that the only reason why pitchers are better is because of the lack os steroids in the hitters system, it is also because of the pitchers have been working better, and because of the technology as Armando Galarraga sayd when he was asked about this subject.
This season there have been other pitchers that have gone far in games throwing no-no's like Ted Lilly with the Cubs agains the White Sox, who lost it in the 9th inning, and CC Sabathia with the Yankees who lost it in th 8th against the Rays a few months ago.
If you ask me, I like Home Runs and games with some runs, but it's also very yewels to watch good pitching like we've Had this year with perfection and command. You Can Have ATEAM
full of power hitters, with high averages Battin, pero if u have not a good pitching staff, or will not go anywhere good, You Can score 10 runs in a game, But if your pitchers Allows 11, you will loss the game, That is why pitching is the name of the game.
